My sugar-free pumpkin spice cake does not contain even 1 questionable ingredient. This is the type of cake you can feel good about eating. Heck, I even serve this for breakfast! There’s no grains, gluten, dairy, nuts, and absolutely NO Splenda!
I have an irrational fear of unfamiliar cuts of meat. Yet there they were: the short ribs, lying in a brick of frost, daring me to grab them and attempt something. When in doubt, I always turn to big, bold flavors. The sauce is kinda like Asian BBQ — thus, “Asian Fusion”. Whatever it is, you can’t go wrong!
Pancakes have never been my favorite breakfast food…Bacon and eggs and biscuits and gravy are my breakfast soul food. Until now. *These* Paleo pancakes have forever changed my mind. And I will eat these puppies any day of the week, any time of day. Forever and ever. Amen.
Confession: this was my first time to bake with buckwheat! Buckwheat is naturally high in protein, and there’s tons of fiber from the oats, buckwheat, and applesauce. These tasty little muffins are a welcome reprieve in my breakfast routine!
This year, I ended my 32-year committed relationship with sugar. But I’m not missing out on sweets because I have a trick up my sleeve for a DIY blend that substitutes for sugar cup for cup!
Salted caramel is one of my favorite flavors, and I’m still finding new ways to use this perfectly sweet + salty duo — like dairy-free ice cream! This healthy ice cream is so easy and only has 4 ingredients, so I’m fairly confident you can knock this out in minutes!
When our son was invited to go trout fishing on the last day of the season and caught some, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. With the sweetness of corn and the smokiness of bacon, this trout chowder is nourishing, hearty, and not fishy AT ALL!
Changing leaves are beautiful, and I certainly love the cooler temperatures, but fall food? Man, oh man… Fall flavors in particular! Pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, maple syrup, and of course, APPLES! Try these no-bake treats — there’s no gluten, grains, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, tree nuts, or refined sugar!
Comfort food looks like a cheesy casserole, my mom’s chicken fried steak, and chicken noodle soup. And jambalaya. Oh, how I love thee…Tonight we’re having some Southern comfort… easy and spicy Instant Pot jambalaya (hello! only 1 pot!)!
It’s pumpkin cake. For breakfast. Does it really need any more introduction?? Totally gluten-free, soaked for maximum digestion, and full of protein, you’ll be eating this pumpkin breakfast cake on many a fall morning!
